Through the fire we gaze, eyes just numb to the blaze
Hardest thing's to look away, these are pivotal days,
Live in a haze, biblical phase, these pivotal days

Through the fires of harbored rage, the awful things we say
How can we live this way?
Through the stormy times still somebody climbs
Hard to live okay in these pivotal days

So we forced and fought our way up to heaven's gate
Just to fall upon our blade, oh these pivotal days
Living a maze, critical age, pivotal days

Through the blazing harbored rage, the horrible things we say

A cynical age, we're in a literal haze (biblical phase)
